Feeding Friends
Plymouth Church has been participating in the Feeding Friends community meal at the Dodgeville United Methodist Church since spring of 2015. The meal occurs every Wednesday, but on the second Wednesday of every month, it is Plymouth who cooks, serves, eats, and cleans up for this joyous event. The purpose of Feeding Friends is to provide a hot meal free of charge to all people of Iowa County, with 100 or more showing up every week.
Volunteers Needed!
Looking for an opportunity to become more involved in mission and service? This is a great way to help out, but it is also a great way to meet new people and make new friends. Each month a volunteer will step up to plan and coordinate the meal, and volunteers are needed to cook, serve, and clean up. Even if you can only help a little, you are welcome to join us! Food preparation usually starts around 4:00 pm, and serving starts at 5 pm. The serving line is open until 6:30, and then we clean up.
If you would like to help out, please contact Pastor Joy at pastorjoylynn@gmail.com.
Dodgeville United Methodist Church is located at 327 North Iowa Street.
